    STEPS TO APPLY  FOR WORKING MEXICO VISA / PERMIT:

    STEP 1:  Applicant needs to find an  Employer  (Sponsor)

    STEP 2: Employer (Sponsor) must  file a petition on  behalf  of the
    Applicant in the corresponding Mexico National Institute of Immigration  
    office where the applicant  will work.

    STEP 3: Once the  application is approved by Mexico National Institute of
    Immigration  (INM) will issue  approval authorization notice.

    STEP 4: Once the applicant has the corresponding authorization  from
    Mexico National Institute of  Immigration, he/she  must make an
    appointment at  the Mexican Consulate or Embassy  closer to his/her  
    place of residence and appear in person for Visa Issuance.

    STEP 5: After the visa is issued  applicant  must apply for TEMPORARY
    RESIDENT CARD WITH PERMIT TO WORK in the corresponding
    Immigration office INM where the applicant will work or where the initial
    application was filed.


    Mexican Corporations or Sole proprietors  hiring foreigners (NON
    MEXICAN) must  register first in  INM, MEXICO NATIONAL
    INSTITUTE OF  IMMIGRATION and obtain Employer Identification
    Number in order to hire foreigners.
